soybean fatty acids are widely used in the chemical and cosmetics industries in manufacturing various products such as amines, betaine, esters, fatty alcohols, surface cleaners, detergents, cosmetics, personal care, liquid, and solid soaps. It is also used in the textile industry in for finishing the fabrics, leather, and final fibers. Moreover, soybean fatty acid is used for manufacturing the various coatings and surfactants. It is used with glycerin and phthalic acid to form the paints, varnishes, and alkyd resins. The other applications of soybean fatty acids are in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and rubber industries as well as being used for production of various softeners and lubricants.
